Recent EarthquakesRecent can mean a lot of different things to different people. To seismologists, and due to the high number of earthquakes, recent is referring to the last week or the past month. You can find this data at the USGS. To find recent data on the US, click here. http://earthquake.usgs.gov/eqcenter/recenteqsus/ To get data on the world, click here. http://earthquake.usgs.gov/eqcenter/recenteqsww/
At the USGS you can also find much more data. You can find out the magnitudes, depths, and the exact locations. They encourage you to report any tremors you have felt.
