Reno Earthquakes
The Reno area has had a few shakers lately. There are a series of faults that run right through the city. Seismologists have recently spent over a million dollars studying the fault and mapping it out.
Nevada is the third most active earthquake state, after Alaska and California. Recently there was a large quake in Wells, Nevada. You can see a map of the quakes here. http://www.seismo.unr.edu/
